Omani Foreign Minister Engages in Phone Discussion with Palestinian Counterpart
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Today, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, held a telephonic conversation with Dr. Riyadh Al Maliki, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the State of Palestine.
During the dialogue, the two ministers delved into the prevailing conditions and ongoing developments in the Palestinian landscape, particularly highlighting the dire situation in the Gaza Strip resulting from Israel’s occupation of Palestine and its aggressive actions.
Sayyid Badr underscored the imperative of consolidating the efforts of all Palestinian factions and entities to confront shared challenges and advance the paramount interests of establishing an independent Palestinian state.
Concurrently, Dr. Riyadh Al Maliki conveyed the Palestinian side’s profound gratitude for the Sultanate of Oman’s unwavering support towards the Palestinian cause across political and legal platforms. He specifically commended Oman’s advocacy before the International Court of Justice, condemning Israeli practices that contravene human rights norms within the occupied Palestinian territories.
