Pakistan’s caretaker PM arrives in Tashkent

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The Caretaker Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, arrived in Uzbekistan on November 8 to attend the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tashkent.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport.
As previously reported, the President met with Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The mutual trade between Uzbekistan and Pakistan has increased by 75 percent since the beginning of the year. During this period, the volume of cargo transportation increased by 50 percent. 20 new joint ventures were also opened.
Indeed, there is enormous potential for enhancing effective collaboration and developing cooperation between the regions of the two countries. Implementing joint investment projects in textiles, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, and tourism is promising.
The 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization will become an essential event in terms of tapping into untapped opportunities between countries.
