President Zardari Extends Warm Wishes to Iran on Islamic Revolution Anniversary
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday conveyed his warm felicitations to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and to the people of Iran on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
In a letter addressed to Ayatollah Khamenei, President Zardari highlighted that Pakistan and Iran share a relationship deeply rooted in common history, language, culture, and geography. He noted that these enduring bonds have grown stronger and more vibrant over the years, reflecting the close ties between the two neighboring nations, according to a news release issued by the Presidency.
The President expressed confidence that the spirit of brotherhood and mutual respect would continue to flourish in the years ahead, contributing to prosperity, stability, and harmony not only for Pakistan and Iran but also for the wider region.
President Zardari also extended his best wishes for the good health and well-being of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and offered prayers for lasting peace, progress, and prosperity for the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
