Vietnam Seeks to Strengthen Multifaceted Ties with Poland
Hà Nội, The Gulf Observer: On May 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bùi Thanh Sơn welcomed Anna Krystyna Radwan-Röhrenschef, Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during her visit to Vietnam. Radwan-Röhrenschef is in Hà Nội to participate in a political consultation at the deputy ministerial level between the two nations’ foreign ministries.
Minister Sơn emphasized Vietnam’s commitment to fostering and enhancing multifaceted cooperation with Poland. He advocated for increased high-level exchanges to bolster political trust and mutual understanding, thereby laying a solid foundation for expanding cooperation in various fields. He stressed the importance of maintaining effective political consultations at the deputy ministerial level.
Sơn expressed gratitude for the Polish Government’s support of the Vietnamese community in Poland, urging Polish authorities at all levels to continue providing favorable conditions for Vietnamese expatriates. He highlighted the community’s role in contributing to the local society and economy and in strengthening bilateral friendship and cooperation.
Additionally, Sơn proposed that Poland ratify the EU – Việt Nam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) to facilitate equitable and mutually beneficial investment partnerships.
Undersecretary Radwan-Röhrenschef expressed admiration for Vietnam’s socio-economic development and its integration into the global community. She concurred with Sơn’s suggestions and committed to promoting collaboration between Polish ministries and sectors with their Vietnamese counterparts to enhance the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation across all areas.
