President Tokayev Welcomes Bulgarian Counterpart Rumen Radev

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev formally welcomed President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev at the Akorda Presidential Palace on Monday, marking the beginning of the latter’s official visit to Kazakhstan, according to media reports.
The official welcoming ceremony took place at Akorda’s ceremonial hall, where a guard of honor was assembled in salute. The national anthems of both countries were performed by the Presidential Orchestra, followed by a ceremonial walk down the blue carpet by the two leaders.
Following the welcoming rites, President Tokayev and President Radev commenced a narrow-format meeting to initiate bilateral discussions. The agenda of the high-level talks is expected to center on strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Bulgaria.
This visit underscores the growing partnership between the two nations and is anticipated to yield significant agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral ties across multiple sectors.
